Purebred Breeders LLC | Crazy Dog Laws

Purebred Breeders LLC has scoured the Internet and found some crazy dog laws that affect our furry friends and most often than not, don’t make any sense.

Here are some:
·         An example of why grammar matters...An ordinance in Belvedere, California, states "No dog shall be in a public place without its master on a leash.”
·         In Smithtown in New York, dogs are not allowed to bark for more than 15 min. at a time, the punishment upon the third infraction is a fine of $500 and a jail sentence of 15 days!
·         This one shows varying locations, but we found one that stated that in Palding, Ohio, a policeman is authorized to bite a dog in attempts to quiet the animal.
·         In Oklahoma, you can be arrested for making ugly faces at a dog.
·         This is one of the craziest… dogs must acquire a permit signed by the mayor to be able to congregate on private property in groups of 3 or more.  How a dog is supposed to obtain this permission is beyond me.

Purebred Breeders LLC | The World's Smallest Working Dog

We have a new member of the Guinness Book of World Records!  Purebred Breeders LLC presents Lucy, a 2.5 pound Yorkshire Terrier from New Jersey was named world’s smallest working dog last week.  Her predecessor was a 6.6 pound police dog in Japan named Momo that works in search-and-rescue.

Lucy, who is 3 years old was trained in therapy work and sometimes does her visits at hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and special schools wearing cute little dresses.  Her current owner met Lucy and decided to adopt her when her previous owner stopped by her shop as she was on her way to a shelter.  She works through the Leashes of Love program, an all-volunteer pet therapy group.  She is trained to sit or lay for long periods of time, and not be flustered when there are wheelchairs and walkers all around.

Purebredbreeders.com | Dog Mascots

Purebredbreeders.com found that the most popular dog mascot by far is the bulldog.  Although typically a mascot in the world of collegiate sports tends to be someone in a costume, at the University of Georgia, their mascot is actually a dog, named Uga.  The university has had generations of Uga since 1956, the current mascot is Uga VIII.

Here are some other teams that use dogs:

University at Albany Great Danes
John Jay College Bloodhounds
University of Indianapolis Greyhounds
Fresno State Bulldogs
Boston University Terriers

Purebred Breeders LLC | Sticky Sheets

Purebred Breeders LLC knows the plight of pet owners who have dogs that have excessive shedding.  The hair can get all over your furniture, your clothes and your car, and dealing with the clean-up is not any more fun to deal with either.   If you are a pet owner you probably have a lint-roller to remove the hair from your clothes but for furniture and your vehicle it can be a bit more challenging and frustrating to have to switch the sheet every two seconds. Purebred Breeders LLC just recently discovered this innovation.

If you have Sticky Sheets that clean up could be quick and easy.  It's like having  a giant sticker to stick to the surface of things and when you peel it off, the hair goes along with it.  To watch it in action, check out the video below:

If you've used one before, Purebred Breeders LLC wants to know how your experience was.  It seems like a great, practical product for any pet owner.

ice cubes!
  1. Stew some chicken breast or meat chunks in water with a pinch of salt.
  2. When that is done cooking, wait for the broth to cool.
  3. Pour this into an ice cube tray or popsicle mold, adding a few meat pieces if you would like.
  4. Wait for the liquid to completely harden in the freezer.
  5. Pop them out and have some fun!!
This is a good treat for everyday or for training, giving them a few minutes of icy, flavorful fun!
